The Department of International Trade and Finance was established under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yalova University and started enrollments in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The four-year undergraduate program is carried out full-time.

The program is taught in Turkish. It is aimed that our students will be able to master foreign languages as required by international trade. For this purpose, our department provides compulsory and elective English language courses each semester.

A 14-week workplace Application Training Program is planned in the last semester, depending on the student's request and within the quota.

Our students can participate in mobility programs as exchange students at home and abroad under Erasmus, Mevlana, Farabi agreements or through other collaborations with higher education institutions.

Students are eligible to pursue second major or minor degrees as well as apply for internal or inter institutional transfers, if they meet required conditions in respect to relevant regulations.

Upon studying minimum 6 semesters and successfully completing the course load equivalent to 240 ECTS in the department, program graduates are awarded with a bachelor's degree in International Trade and Finance,

Graduates of the Department of International Trade and Finance can work as specialists in export-import, supply chain, purchasing and finance departments at national and international companies, can be employed by logistics firms or other service businesses such as banking and insurance. They can work as staff in relevant public institutions or they can become entrepreneurs by establishing their own businesses in the field of foreign trade. Graduates also have the right to participate in all occupational exams that other department graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences can take.
